In the Fall of 2022, as part of the RIT MST degree program, I completed a Special Education practicum in which I designed art lessons for a Middle School 8:1:0 BOCES class.
In my Spring Student Teaching Placement at an Elementary School (Grades 3-5) I worked weekly with students in the dedicated 6:1+2 BOCES class. I designed one or two day projects that would engage students with new art materials and encourage fine motor skill development.

Using hand over hand technique to assist student in starting to apply paint to the paper.

Students created Valentine's Day boxes by ripping paper, brushing glitter glue on the box and decorating with jewels and the paper.

Giving a brief demonstration on how to blend the paint markers with water and a brush.
