As part of the Master of Science for Teachers program at Rochester Institute of Technology I volunteered to assist in hosting a traditional cordage booth at the Seneca Arts and Cultural Festival at Ganondagan in Victor, NY.
In December 2022, I co-hosted an art fair at the Gantt Recreation Center (with the RIT MST program). This free event gave an opportunity for children from a disadvantaged area of the city for art enrichment. I volunteered at a similar art fair event in February, held at John Williams School No. 5 where students and their families participated in stations from mini clay model monster making to printmaking.

Volunteering at the Ganondagan Seneca Art and Cultural Center. Our class learned the cultural significance of cordage, how to make it and then taught children and their parents the process.
