Blue Moo is a Photo Poetry book about working in an ice cream shop over the darkest and coldest months in Upstate New York. The idea was inspired by the thought of expanding on poems I wrote while clocked in, where there could be hours between customers some days. These poems are an inviting web of fictions based on near daily interaction between the place, the characters and I. I used the cyanotype process' signature blue hue to capture the melancholy mood of the time period.
